African Footprint –celebrates 10th anniversary  
 

Richard Loring (creator/director of African Footprint) celebrates the 10th birthday of the show with cst and Peermont Emperors Palace executives.

The internationally acclaimed world-wide sensation African Footprint is coming to the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace exclusively from May 27 to June 20.

  So how many hundreds of times have they made those gumboots, the ankle shakers, pantsula takkies and the tap shoes do the talking?

"We are talking thousands," is Thabo Komape''s reply. A quick tally, with fellow African Footprint elder Alfred Phakati, establishes that between them they have performed in this homegrown song-and-dance show close on 8 000 times.

HE’S a dancer from Mzansi. And he’ll be performing in France tonight. Thabo Komape of Meadowlands is part of the African Footprint cast which will put on a show before France clashes with Spain in a friendly soccer match tonight.

Thabo said: “This is a great opportunity for us to show to international soccer fans what South Africa is capable of. “The play shows what South Africa has in store for them in 2010,” he said.

Great news for those who missed African Footprint or wish to see it again; it's coming to Emperors Palace from 27 May to 20 June.

African Footprint , which has left its footprint in the dusty plains of the USA; the walls of China; the throbbing streets of India; the snow of Canada; and the vibrant walkways of Europe, returns to South Africa to celebrate its 10 th anniversary on home soil with a four-week season at Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, from 27 May until 20 June.

The acclaimed local musical, African Footprint, is back in the country to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

After touring the US, China and India, the show returns to South Africa to celebrate its decade-long run with a four-week season from May 27 to June 20 at Emperors Palace in Gauteng.


African Footprint returns to South Africa after a highly successful 5-week tour of France
 
 

The African Footprint cast returns to home soil when they touch down at OR Tambo International Airport after a highly successful 5-week tour of France.

They return to celebrate their 10th anniversary at The Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace for a short 4-week season from 27 May until 20 June 2010.
